Everybody knows a massage is a great way to relax and slow down a busy life. For some, a massage is a mini-vacation from day-to-day stress, or like meditation, a way to enhance one’s mind and body awareness. Therapeutic massage does more than give you a break from a demanding life. Massage increases the quality of your life.

We offer various types of therapeutic massage, from seated-chair to muscle alignment, including on-site seated chair. See below for service descriptions and pricing.

INR Technique® (Signature)

The INR Technique® primarily utilizes trigger point therapy, active release technique, muscle stripping and ROM stretches. The focus is on muscle attachments. INR Technique® is extremely effective in reducing pain, tension and restoring a problem area to optimum function quickly. This technique counteracts the effects of trauma to muscles and then reintegrates the injured muscles.

INR Body Tune-Up® (for a specific area only)

Table (fully clothed) massages, utilizes Range of Motion (ROM) stretches and trigger point therapy. The INR Body Tune-up, targets chronic pain such as carpal tunnel, headaches, neck pain, back pain, leg pain and sore feet. Body Tune-up utilizes INR Techniques®.

Therapeutic Muscle Alignment

TMA Therapeutic Muscle Alignment is a reparative injures style therapy. TMA is used mostly for sports, MVA and post-surgery rehabilitation. A combination of different modalities and tools are used: INR Technique (signature), Neuro-Structural, Trigger Point, Deep Tissue, Heat, Ice and Chi therapy. TMA therapy also includes physical therapy and/or Cupping and Scrapping (Gua Sha). This combination motivates muscles and joints movement into re-alignment. See individual services for more details.

Therapeutic/Rehabilitation

TR Therapeutic/Rehabilitation is reparative, restorative, supportive, and preventative style of Sports Massage Bodywork. To aide in the body’s healing, getting you back to things you once enjoyed. TR can be a combination of different modalities using Deep Tissue, Cupping Therapy, Scrapping (Gua Sha) Trigger Point Therapy, Relaxing, Bio Energy/Reiki Healing finishing off with Lomi-Lomi strokes to reconnect the mind-body. Sacred Temple Style Lomi-Lomi

Lomi-Lomi is Hawaiian bodywork. This therapeutic style of bodywork begins with prayer/mediation to help facilitate the release of any negative mental energy that may be affecting a person’s ability to get well. Using long fluid strokes with forearms, hands, breathe work (life force energy) and mediation. Pressure fluctuating from light to deep, treatments can affect physical, emotional and spiritual level, which helps with the mind-body connection. Also, Lomi-Lomi improves circulation, relaxation, range of motion, and flexibility.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work used to relax, replenish, and heal the body. This spiritually guided life force energy, known as reiki, is universal and has an intelligence of its own. Reiki is a healing modality is based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the client to activate the natural healing processes of the body thereby restore physical and emotional well-being.

60-90 minutes – $130

Modalities Utilized

Deep Tissue:

A combination of different massage techniques ranging from Deep Tissue, Sports, and trigger point therapy. Firm to deep pressure is applied. Ideal for increasing endurance, reducing recovery time and treating injuries.

Relaxation:

Meditative massage, slow flowing strokes, excellent for managing stress. Pressure can be light to firm but not deep. No trigger point work will be utilized. Aromatherapy maybe added to enhance the experience.

Cupping Therapy:

Cupping therapy is a method of creating a vacuum on the skin to dispel stagnation of blood and lymph. Cupping stimulates tissues and blood vessels as deep down as four inches, which aide’s physiological changes on a very profound level.

Cups are place on skin, suction is used by sucking the air out of the cup, thereby causing the skin to rise and in turn stimulate blood flow that begins healing in the area (s) of concern. Clients may experience a relaxing sensation coupled with relief. Cupping is used to relieve back pain, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines.

Scrapping (Gua Sha):

In the procedure a massage oil or lotion is applied to skin, then using long or short strokes on the skin with a scrapping tool (Gua Sha Tool) This sometimes-producing redness to area that may last a few days. Gua sha is used to treat both chronic and acute pain. It is said that Gua Sha increases microcirculation in the soft tissues stimulating the body’s natural pain-relieving opioid systems.
